About Studio 333

As an Architectural Color Consultant, Lara brings a trained eye to creating color palettes for clients, including everything from paint and hard surfaces to textiles, furniture, art and decor.

Lara worked for nearly twenty years as a textile designer for Garnet Hill, Angela Adams, and other national home furnishing companies. She traveled internationally to attend design shows, review production runs, and search for inspiration for her clients. She has taught design courses for both undergraduate and continuing studies students.

Lara received her BFA in Printmaking from Smith College, her MFA in Textile Design from Rhode Island School of Design, and her International Color Consultant Certificate from the QC Design School. Currently she is working on a Science in Design Certification, which focuses on the emerging field of neuroaesthetics and biophilic design.

Lara thrives on helping people understand how color works in the built environment. She is gifted in explaining design and color concepts to every client, while making the design process fun and exciting, and adding joy and value to her client’s biggest investment.
